beneath the surface.

Documenting chaos with calm precision.
I photograph people, music, and the environments that shape them. My work sits somewhere between documentary and artistry, focusing not only on what the eye sees, but on what the heart feels. I aim to portray a deeper level of insight in my work, bringing the audience closer to the subject than ever before.
With a foundation in technical artistry and design, and over a decade of experience in photography, my goal is to elevate rather than simply portray.

“What has had the biggest impact on your work?”
Sobriety allows me to see with eyes unclouded. My work has never been better, sharper, or more thoughtfully executed, from the moment I take the photo to the moment I complete the edit.
“How do you source your inspiration?”
I draw inspiration from many different sources, experimenting with combining drastically different styles to create something unique to Blue Jean Lens. Most importantly, I allow myself to be inspired directly by the subject in front of me, whether that be people, music, or the environmental elements that shape atmosphere.
“What is your end goal?”
“Make art.”
As a photographer with a background in technical artistry, it’s crucial to me to prioritize the making of art over what’s popular, high in demand, digestible, or profitable.
